The location of the cottage was ideal for us, as we had a car and all the attractions around the area were within a 30-minute drive. Having a corner shop and a pub within a 10-minute walk was convenient, and the children's playground next to the cottage was a nice surprise for the little ones.

There was also a large stain on the living room carpet that a stronger cleaning product could have possibly removed. It would have been handy to have a small pick-up or hand vacuum for longer stays, as well as an itinerary of kitchen supplies to avoid unnecessary purchases.
